Questions
- How do I reduce a photo to 20 KB, 25 KB or 30 KB?
- Choose your form in the tool at the top of this page, then choose your photo. The tool lowers the picture size and JPG quality only as far as needed and gives you a file just under the limit.
- Is this photo resizer free?
- Yes. There is no charge, no account and no watermark.
- Is my photo or CNIC uploaded to your server?
- No. The picture is resized inside your own browser. It never leaves your phone or computer, and we never see it.
- Where do the size limits come from?
- From each organisation’s own guidelines or application form. Every form page quotes the official wording, links to the source and shows the date we last checked it.
- My form is not in the list. Can I still use the tool?
- Yes. Choose “Another form” in the list above the tool and type the KB limit that your form shows. The tool will bring your picture under that limit.
- Why is the downloaded file slightly smaller than the limit?
- Forms say “less than 30 KB”, and portals count a KB in two different ways. Stopping a little below the limit means the file passes either way.
- Does it work on a mobile phone?
- Yes. Open this page in your phone’s browser, choose a photo from your gallery, and download the result. There is no app to install.
